AFRICAN QUEEN

African Queen, situated at the pool of the Lugogo Sun since 1982, is a bright and airy shop which offers the visitor and local shopper a great choice of products: colourful and ethnic T-Shirts, clothing, jewellery, swimwear for adults and children, toys and African inspired fun and practical gifts.

Ngwenya Glass and Swazi Candles are also very well represented and are displayed amongst interesting collectables from Swaziland and other African countries.

One of the beautiful specialities of the shop are the wooden handcarved (in Swaziland) Nativity Sets.

African Queen offers a large selection of candles and a big variety of beautiful Swaziland and other African postcards. For the needy traveller there is a small section with toilettries and we also discovered some good and up to date novels on the shelves.

The shop has recently been refurbished, looks colourful and inviting and is a must for the visitor to Swaziland and for anybody spending a relaxing time around the pool or enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant of the Lugogo Sun.

Khosi Manyatsi is African Queen's manager and the shop reflects her dedication and cheerful personality. Khosi and her staff know their products and will assist the customers in making the right choices!
